A number loving geek who is unsatisfied with the performance of discretionary trading and went on to learn the latest technologies in search for uncorrelated alpha in global markets. He lives in Singapore and comes from a technology, mathematics and statistics background and is an undergraduate from the National University of Singapore. He used to work as a quant analyst in one of the largest macro hedge fund in Asia as well as in an asset management firm in Asia with quantitative coverage of key sectors under ICB classification. He aims to post at least two articles in one month.
Here, he shares his views on current global market trends in currencies, equities and fixed income. This blog serves to keep track of his unusual ideas and coding projects with a focus on generating unfound alpha as well as proof of concepts of known strategies. Reading his posts will give any investor or trader, amateur or experienced, a novel view of what needs attention to improve anyone’s portfolio allocation. If you find them interesting, do share them and follow his blog. If you are interested in working with me to post articles on leading alpha tactics or strategies, do contact me.
